Founded in 2013, Planet Hatch has positioned itself as an innovative co-working center and entrepreneurial hub located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It supports entrepreneurs and startups across various sectors, including IT, biotech, engineering, and food & beverage, by providing essential resources for business success. Its mission is to foster globally competitive startups through access to funding, events, coaching, mentorship, and by offering a launchpad for turning ideas into groundbreaking technologies.
Since its inception, Planet Hatch has helped 500+ startups secure funding, develop their business strategies, and scale their operations. We take pride in nurturing first-time entrepreneurs (65% of our clients) and newcomers (61%), contributing to Fredericton’s reputation as an ideal place to start a business.

Successful ventures such as HotSpot, a parking management solution now active in over 150 cities; Chinova Bioworks, a biotech company revolutionizing sustainable food preservation; and NeuroAI, a leader in AI-driven low-carbon technologies, all had early support from Planet Hatch. These businesses exemplify how Planet Hatch’s financial backing, mentorship, and collaborative environment are essential to transforming innovative ideas into thriving companies.
