We have been doing this since 1995 and actively invest in AI, enterprise technology, marketplaces, and more. As the tech footprint in Seattle has grown, so have we. Madrona opened a Silicon Valley outpost in 2022. Through our Acceleration Funds, we back companies throughout the country with the same energy and innovation we find here in the Pacific Northwest.
Madrona has over 100 companies in our portfolio, ranging from teams of three engineers to scaling enterprises. We had the pleasure of helping build companies like Amazon, Snowflake, Impinj, Smartsheet, RecRoom, and Rover.

To that end, we spearheaded the creation of the Intelligent Applications 40, a list of the top private AI companies. We now bring together founders, researchers, technologists, business leaders, and investors at the IA Summit every fall to discuss the state of AI and where the next breakthroughs will be.
