QUALITATIVE CANNABIS STANDARD
Aperon established the world’s first qualitative cannabis standard, known today as the International Cannabis and Hemp Standards (ICHS). These standards establish a common nomenclature and defined process for talking about and assessing cannabis and hemp, which ensures transparency, consistency, and integrity, organizing and standardizing trade across a fragmented, disconnected supply chain.
APPRAISAL REPORTS & CERTIFICATE OF GRADE
Building off of the ICHS, Aperon has invented the Certificate of Grade (COG) – a blockchain-certified certificate that catalogs the unique blueprint of each cannabis product. Environment, product, and process are recorded, while a numerical grade is assigned based on the objective key qualitative attributes of smell, color, structure, and trichomes. The COG allows buyers to standardize their buying process and feel more confident making purchasing decisions. QUALITY-VERIFIED CONSUMER GOODS
Grading and appraisal information is being used to launch Proof of Smoke® NFTs, minted during the grading process. This information is used to quality-verify consumer goods easily, by adding it via QR codes and a quality-verified badge on consumer packaged goods. GRADING APP
Aperon’s proprietary grading app is the first ever of its kind. The tool has been designed exclusively for the cannabis industry to allow grading professionals, such as those at Big Tree Grading, to accurately assess and record the quantitative and qualitative data of each cannabis product. Graders use the app to track all the essential details of the product, which is then used to create transparent certificates and appraisal reports. Using Aperon’s tools, graders at Big Tree Grading have graded 440,000+ lbs of product and visited 1000s of operators since 2016.

Aperon is proud to have built the world’s first and only quality-verified marketplace for bulk, wholesale cannabis. The Tamerlane Marketplace features graded, quality-verified products that make it easy for buyers and suppliers to create lasting, dependable relationships.
