OUR STORY
Hernon Manufacturing leads the adhesives and dispensing markets in several niche areas including ammunition sealing and UV Cure-In-Place (CIP) materials. These technologies require creative innovations in both the mechanical dispensing and the adhesive chemistry and are great examples of Hernon’s Total Solutions approach to bonding problems. Hernon® is also a leader in speaker manufacturing adhesives and provides a variety of adhesives, coatings, and activators as well as industrial dispensing systems to some of the world’s leading speaker manufacturers. Other market applications include sealing shaped charges for oil and gas mining, fiber optics potting, electronics manufacturing using thermally conductive adhesives, fuel cell manufacturing, and many structural bonding applications. With thousands of unique formulas, each with uses across multiple industries, the scope of Hernon’s product applications is as diverse as manufacturing itself.

Hernon Manufacturing, Inc.® was founded in 1978 in New York by immigrant brothers Harry and Josef Arnon. Initially manufacturing adhesives in their mother’s basement, the brothers hand-delivered orders until they could afford to purchase a proper storefront. Over the next 17 years, Hernon® continued to grow and in 1995, the brothers moved the business to the current headquarters in Sanford, FL. The company opened a machine division to manufacture UV LED curing lights and precision dispensing equipment and then in 2015 initiated a massive 160% expansion of their manufacturing facility to keep up with demand. In 2019, Hernon® made the Orlando Business Journal’s Fast 50 list for the second year in a row, boasting six consecutive years of double-digit sales growth. Hernon® maintains an ever-expanding network of over 100 distributor and partner locations around the globe.
